Sweeney Todd, el barbero diabólico de Fleet Street

Ayer por fin, después de meses planeandolo, fuimos a ver al teatro Albert, mi madre y yo "Sweeney Todd", musical muy famoso gracias a que a principios de año se estrenó la versión cinematográfica, dirigida por Tim Burton y protagonizada por Johnny Depp; muy buena película (aunque, oh, increíblemente ignorada en los Oscar... para variar) pero a pesar de que me gustó bastante, no era uno de mis musicales preferidos. Pero a partir de ayer, eso ha cambiado: la obra de teatro partía con el reto fundamental de no decepcionar a la gran cantidad de admiradores que tiene la película, y creo que no sólo lo consigue, sino que supera todas la espectativas! Es una de las veces que mejor lo he pasado en el teatro, con la historia y las canciones muy buenas que ya conocía, un montaje muy elaborado, y, lo que yo creo que es lo mejor, unos intérpretes extraordinarios. Joan Crosas y Vicky Peña son dos de los mejores actores de teatro que he visto; ella, graciosísima y canta de maravilla, y él inunda todo el escenario con su presencia y su voz. INCREÍBLE. Me encantó, se pasan más de tres horas volando, ya con la primera parte genial, y una segunda aún mejor, con muchas risas, mucha sangre y muy buena música.
